This week’s lineup checks all the boxes: cozy beef and barley soup, zesty chicken tacos, juicy blackened sandwiches, and a creamy sausage pasta that feels indulgent but comes together fast. These are the kinds of recipes that help ease back into routine without feeling like a chore.

Tip of the Week: When cooking quick proteins like chicken thighs or ground meat, bring them out of the fridge about 15–20 minutes before you start. Letting meat come closer to room temperature helps it cook more evenly and brown better—especially helpful for things like your blackened chicken sandwiches or lemon pepper chicken.
